Russian troops fired 9 times at the border of Chernihiv region, causing 46 explosions from artillery, mortars, rockets and explosives dropped from UAVs.

Russian troops fired 9 times at the border of Chernihiv region yesterday, 46 explosions were heard. The Russians fired a rocket, dropped explosives from a UAV and fired artillery and mortars. This was reported on Friday by the Northern Regional Office of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, UNN reports .

"During the day, Russian troops attacked the border of Chernihiv region with various types of weapons on nine occasions. 46 explosions were recorded",  the mission's Facebook post reads.

In particular, hostile attacks were recorded:

  • Novhorod-Siverska  community: 6 explosions (arrivals, probably from barrel artillery) in the direction of Hremyach settlement.
  • Semenivka community: 19 explosions (arrivals, probably from 120-mm mortar and cannon artillery and an aircraft rocket) in the direction of Leonivka, Lubyane, Karpovychi and Zarichchya.
  • Snovska community: 9 explosions (probably from a 120-mm mortar and explosive devices dropped from enemy UAVs) in the direction of Mistky and Plykhiv.
  • Horodnyanska community: 12 explosions (arrivals, probably from a 120-mm mortar) in the direction of Senkivka village.

There is no information on deaths and injuries among the local population as a result of shelling
