Compensation for damaged housing is also being actively paid, applications for the reconstruction of destroyed houses are being accepted, and an algorithm for compensation for destroyed housing in the temporarily occupied territories is being developed. In addition, technical possibilities are being created for payments to those who have repaired their homes on their own.
The program of compensation for damaged housing is actively continuing. It has been expanded and now people can receive up to UAH 500,000 for damaged private houses and UAH 350,000 for damaged apartments. Almost 47,000 applications for such compensation have been approved so far, which is more than UAH 4.9 billion. All the money will be transferred to people's target accounts. According to statistics, most of these funds are spent on construction materials, while the construction work itself is paid for less
She also emphasized the need to intensify the issuance of housing certificates for destroyed housing.
More than 11,000 applications have already been submitted and more than 4.3 thousand housing certificates have been issued, of which 1,310 have been exchanged for new homes. The most frequently exchanged certificates are in Kyiv region, followed by Kyiv, and Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions
